Monk, that's for the non-faired version. The faired one is 20kgs heavier at 213 kg! I wonder...what makes it heavier than a Thunderbird!Originally posted by The Monk View PostWeights -

Agree with you...the original 'tallboy' Santro was an eyesore when it was launched. Today we ignore the Santro's looks as easily as we ignore trees on pavements. And frankly, this still looks much better then naked GW250 with the alien headlamps.Originally posted by The Monk View PostBut over time seeing them everyday on the road, I have got used to the looks to the point where I don't find them ugly anymore.Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. re: Suzuki GW 250S unveiled at Shanghai: xBhp News
Are we kids that we need a mass opinion to decide what is beautiful and ugly? This is uglier than the completely naked version. Is this what Suzuki plans against CBR, Ninja and KTM? It is dead already. Irrespective of the market, the looks of a vehicle decide its fate to a large extent. There's a difference between acceptable looks and ugly, this is the latter. And obviously it doesn't carry any threatening spec sheet either. Moreover, GW might be having a comfortable stance but CBR, KTM and Ninja aren't terribly uncomfortable either. This looks outdated before launch. It's a nightmare. The Chronicles of Motorcycling - The Man, The Machine and The Road

213-183 = 30 kg and not 20 kg!Originally posted by bbsrailfan View PostMonk, that's for the non-faired version. The faired one is 20kgs heavier at 213 kg! I wonder...what makes it heavier than a Thunderbird!

You really think that a plastic fairing is going to be 30 kg?
The original link says that the weight will increase by a few pounds. 1 pound = 453 grams. The expected weight increase is 3 kg and not 30 kg!
The link that you had earlier given which claims 213 kg is a forum in chinese. Neither do I understand Chinese nor will I willing to believe information from such an unsubstantiated source.
A lil bit of common sense says that a fairing couldn't possible be 30 kg! The P 220S and P 220F had a weight difference of 4 kg if I remember correctly!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Those Ugly looks remind of me 3 things
1.) Old Swift Drzire's rear end
2.) Aliens from Aliens movie
3.) Going to grab a burger to think what could be uglier.........Street racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment

Front end looks really cool, from the half side view. But personally I don't think it'd have quite the followers as other manufacturers here. But if pricing is right, who knows, even CHUZHUKHI can also get it right. Fingers crossed for them.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END
