    I think they are being practical. Thats a practical approach. You cant obviously ride your Super Sport every day to office or lets say near by shops. Duke 390 gives you that option.

    I dont see anything wrong with that.

      They even included a Harley Davidson motorcycle in one of their comparison charts! That is truly hilarious to me at least

      However, the faired motorcycles that Bajaj included can be overthrown by Duke 390 in terms choice only on the basis of price. Other than that, I personally believe that any person looking for such kind of a motorcycle knows exactly what he wants. For example, a Duke and a Ninja are so different from each other that if price is not your concern then you will buy exactly what you want for a motorcycle....a Ninja or a Duke. No comparison.

      PS: Switchable ABS and Metzeler tyres as standard are the icing on an overall fantastic cake!

        Nobody buys a sbk to commute to office, and 101% of all sbk owners do own a 'normal' bike or a car alongside their beasts of pride.

          That pic is not here. And HD was there in one of the spec comparison charts (while I was watching the live streaming of the launch).

            So its for them. They haven't mentioned anywhere that this is a better option. Or you sell your SBK and buy this.

            At the end of the day it depends on how you comprehend. To me it seems like they are trying to showcase the practical aspect vis-a-vis SBK's.

              You could be right - depends on perception. Though, at first glance it doesn't look that easy to convince higher segment bikers into buying a 390cc bike as an 'alternative'!

                      I have seen Guys owning N650, own ZMR as alternative, people also own p220 as an alternative to N 650. In that context D390 is a good alternative to a SBK in your garage.

                      I see it as a perfect alternative to my Honda City, only if I had controlled my urge to buy a D200.
