
The highlight of the Kenyan entry, is the fact that the company has launched a motorcycle modified for the requirements of the African market. The Dawn is an entry level 100cc, which will be assembled at the first international assembly line of Hero.

Hero MotoCorp has roped in the well-known diversified business house of Kenya, RYCE East Africa, to bring its two-wheelers to the country. Under the alliance, Sameer Group, which is a part of RYCE East Africa, has been appointed as the authorised distributor of Hero MotoCorp range of two-wheelers in Kenya.
Hero MotoCorp will soon launch brand-building initiatives in Kenya with the English version of the iconic Hero anthem "Hum Main Hai Hero" (There's a Hero in Each of Us) which will be aired across radio stations - the most popular mode of mass communication in the country. There will also be brand-specific communications to establish Hero products in the country.
