I hope they do man. I have waited for so long... Maybe they decided to start with the top-end offerings and then move down the line.

So the bikes in the pic are 400SS, 200SS, 400CS, 180NS and 150NS?
Btw no doubts man, you should pick the 200SS. The 400SS looks quite good to my eyes.

None at all. We don't have enough tracks. It's an objective fact, no one is debating that.

USD forks and standard forks have different purposes. I think you need to understand the objectives and purposes of both of them. USDs generally tend to be beefier (hence, more expensive),stiffer and provide better control. The decision of telescopic vs USD is NOT purely a matter of cost, like you make it sound. If you just want a plush ride, standard forks will cater to that requirement, no sweat. But if you want a firm, sporty ride, you want USD forks.

FI vs carb on the other hand is a bad analogy. It is purely a matter of cost. More precise, electronically controlled fuel delivery is better than less precise, uncontrolled spray of fuel in every way.

Nobody is arguing what is better and whats not. No doubt FI and USD are better options, but my friend again India is price centric nation. Where most of us tend to choose btw the options which is cheaper. (Eg. Choosing between R15V2 and Special New Color Edition of R15V2, where most of the people go for R15V2 not in special edition which is due to 3-4k rise in the price).

I am here talking about only those who spends more than a lac on bikes in India and only in there context I am again saying many of us don't visit circuits (which is motor sports in india ain't that developed). So companies, won't try to put their money which is not required.

And I also know the ABCD of biking here and I know the other reasons for companies not putting USD forks in India. Hence you were mentioning it apart than cost factor what are the other reasons behind Companies not installing USD forks on to Indian bikes??? (And JUST BECAUSE OF THEY BEEFIER THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, YOU NEED TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK).

There's second console mounted on petrol tank which does that.
        Double awesome.
Well, than it's more of a cruiser than a streetfighter. I hope they have something more to show at expo, I'm disappointed at this cruiser streetfighter crossbreed.

haha. a 400cc single cylinder pulsar is NOT a "performance bike".

and i seriously doubt these versions of the pulsars are going to be half fun at a track... irrespective of whether they have USD forks or not.

Stick to R15s for track-days. (no USD forks tho)

with those non USD forks and those easy rider clip-on handlebars, the 200SS/400SS is just about moving out of "poser" category.

besides, it's got ABS. so now what? disable ABS for track-days?

(this thread will start losing it's value within the next 24hrs. spec spec speculation.)

can't say about these Pulsars, nobody but Bajaj test riders have ridden them. But you could go on track on 200NS and whip some R15s right there, ez and fun on 200NS. How about that. NS riders in Columbia do it all the time.

            troll elsewhere.

Yeah I don't know why 99% of people are calling 400CS a street fighter, cos it's obviously not one. It's a good concept, everything about the bike to me looks solid. Though I definitely would've loved to see an actual 400NS instead of this fat brute.

                Guys just a quick question.
Suppose the 400CS is launched at 1.8 lakhs on road; would you choose CS or Duke 390??

                  @Rakesh Rok
Bro if I am right there is no 180 or 150 NS showcased (correct me).
If those two are not showcased and we have solid spy pics there must be more products in line.
And bajaj still can't compete with R15 sales with ns .They knew it and they will launch it !.
                  Keep waiting .
P.S I am waiting for semi faired CS 400 would be perfect upgrade for 220(now think my situation and chill out)

Bro I am a most of a city commuter who seldom gets a chance to tour. i will love to have that CS400. I don't find any time for track any ways they are miles away from me, so do I don't get that time for going to track. I am looking for a suitable power upgrade from my P150, in which I can do 600km easily in a day without breaking a sweat.

Ya the 180NS hasn't been showcased but I got news from a very reliable source that it's coming. I hope they showcase the 180NS too. And you are absolutely right, the NS can't be seen as a competition to the R15. And I also believe that a 200SS is more important to Bajaj than a 400SS. And looking at Bajaj's history, they're very likely to bring 200SS (aka affordable performance) to the public.

ya i have not seen 200ns with saree guards all of them have been without it.

few images that i saw on web where like

to me the saree guard on 400 look slightly different, like it doesnt have foot rest on it, the sprocket guard extension etc.

Cruisers in that sense, i highly doubt thats what bajaj had planned, RE specialises in thumpers, i feel the bajaj line up to be more of a sports tourer kind of motorcycle.
