      A small but relevant OT, if I may.

      Correct me if I am wrong but haven't the 800 cc and above import policies been changed recently? Or do the policies mandate homologation only on below 800cc bikes?

      In any case, this is just a case of an MNC trying the skimming prices tactic in India. Were Kawasaki serious about a long-term, broad-based India plan, they would have got in the KLR and KLX series in by CBU, converted to local manufacture in league with Bajaj and hammered the country and the world. Ditto advice for Suzuki with the V Strom 650.

      I can understand the Anglo-Saxon Americans and Brits not understanding Asian Indians but Asian Japanese too not seeing thru the fog? Strange and sad.
