    Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an Indian cricketer and the current captain of the Indian national cricket team.

    Is taking a break and in a mission of resorting his First bike,

      I seriously do not understand what is the big deal....

      First of all its an rd350... Why is everyone writing it as rajdoot I dont understand. Atleast designate it as the rajdoot 350 which was its official name.

      Second, he opened up an engine... Good for him.. So what exactly is the news?

        I think this post is not about mahendra singh dhoni... its about love of a rider..... the wealth dhoni posses he could have bought a new costliest bike....or he could have modified it by any mechanic....instead of he is doing it by himself....

        this post shows the true love of rider to his bike...

            Publicity stunt, I won't be surprised if a mechanic is taking it apart and Dhoni is just posting the pictures. No news to me, somebody disassembled an engine, that's all. Also I see 12 point spanners in the picture.

                  Buddy, he has a mechanic who does his rds for him. He is a guy who is a celebrity mech who also works for john abraham too..

                    I want RD so badly. but...the resales are so high. I cant afford one. I have a sole two stroker as a Rx 135. I guess having a RD350 is a dream while earning 12000rs pm.
                    But ill have it someday....Such threads make me frenzy. btw No offense guys...just expressing.
                    But ill drop a gear and disappear one day.

                      With the advent of the 390, rd prices will drop in a year or two because the poser crowd and peple with a passing interest in the rd would go for the 390 . start saving brother. Your dream might not be that far.

                        Fine, it came as news but it would have been better if there were regular updates. Trusted sources also told me once that he (Dhoni) keeps a guy only to take care of his bikes & to bring it to places where he wants; not a surprise, but I am just saying....

                          I Really think the rd350 price tags will remain sky high,,not everyone can maintain a rd.Heck,i still haven't seen a rd in flesh!

                            Owning an Rd350 is a big no unless one has lots of patience, money, know-how, contacts. Non availability of genuine (new) spare parts, poor mileage and pollution adds to the horror. There are fast and reliable bikes available these days though nothing can come close to the insane acceleration of a stock Rd but thing is the rds which we see today are all in scrap condition and maintaining it close to the factory spec is a pain in the neck. Trust a mechanic and he would take You for a jolly ride.

                            Lets hope that Yamaha relaunches rd350 with a direct injection rotax engine just like Aprilia rs125
