BRP in the process to bring the Can- Am Spyder to India.
The three wheeled Spyder is awaiting permission from the Indian govt. before these trikes are brought into our country. There is no provision as of now for such bikes in India. Therefore the company has to wait for the Indian Govt.'s response before they can bring this to India. Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP)might bring this as CBU or CKD to keep the prices down. Will this bring the price low enough to make it attractive to the Indian consumer remains to be seen.
xBhp had first reported about the Can- Am Spyder's India foray back in 2010. The bike did not reach then, will it come to India now?
