Suzuki V-Strom was supposed to be showcased at Donington Park, during the WSBK race this year. Finally after a long wait, the details of the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 have finally emerged.
The Suzuki V-Strom Specs are featuring a 1037cc V-twin engine, which makes a peak of 99HP at 8000 rpm, and 76lb/ft at 4000 rpm. For the first time a Suzuki will sport traction control and ABS as well.
The Suzuki V-Strom launch is near and these details will be very close to the final product. The bike is said to produce good low-end and midrange torque which will aid it in being an able tourer. Also, this Suzuki will be relatively frugal on the fuel and get a range of almost 500 km. Fantastic for a bike its size, with its 20 litre tank.
The bike weighs 230 kg approx., about 8 kg less than its previous iteration. Losing weight is always a good thing and this makes the Suzuki V-Strom that much more likeable.
What will the price be for the this touring beast and will it be making its way to India, we can only guess!
