ducati is learning the art of ripping the customers for limited edition motorcycles from the king of them all LAMbhorghini,

sorry mods for mentioning a bit about cars ---(may remove it if not allowed)
lambhorgini over the last 5 years has launched many limited editions

LAMBORGHINI reventon(afaik only 7) each at 2.5 million usd
LAMBORGHINI veneno(afaik only 20) at around 2 million usd
LAMBORGHINI sesto elemento (afaik only 20) at 3 million usd
LAMBORGHINI aventador j unica (only 1 ) priceless. they say owner payed 18 million in first place
LAMBORGHINI bicolores for gallardo

etc etc the list is endless..
i find this quite a amusing way to rip the customers of money for buying their one off concept cars

and quite frankly i think in the motorbike world there is only 1 company that can pull this trick off and its ducati(count even mv agusta)

I agree with you completely! To own the best we can (atleast, I can) would be a 7-8 lacs, and that is a huge deal in itself....better start dusting those study materials and start studying asap, i guess

Drooling is the most accurate word to describe these bikes, like you said..

doing buisness in india in not safe at all lots of cheaters and fraudsters in the country..my dad happens to be a buisness man
he worked outside india for a period of17 years K.S.A and he says that his biggest mistake in life was to come to india to start a buisness(stressful,u cannot enjoy life)..we have been fighting a case for 48 lacs for the past 2 years with no success

as for private jobs they are well paid my dad also happens to work for company in mumbai he is C.O.O and the packages at that post are sufficient to buy a busa every month

Rightly said, mate!! I have been contemplating on this for a long long time now. But you see, risk is inevitable in any business. I also agree that pvt. jobs do pay well but the truth is those packages you're talking about will come only after a certain period of time unless you're a IIT, IIM, MIT, AIIMS, HBS etc. graduate (not me) - I raise my hand claiming to be the most average JOE!!

So bottom-line is, by the time I become the COO, I seriously doubt I will be able to enjoy SBK'ing to the extent I can do if I can get one now in the next few years & I would be more than happy if I can even own one R1 or a BMW S1000RR used or new (honestly). Not everyone is Dr. Nandkumar!(RESPECT!!!)

Most of us nowadays are prone to run outta gas/energy especially considering our current lifestyle, if you know what I mean

@chaosaddict risk is inevitable ..i agree but in india it cannot be termed as risk its a organized system of looting money involving a dukanwala to the neta

so even i hope to buy a superbike one day with my hard earned money

I respect that sort of mentality. I have a friend whose dad is the managing director of Fortis , and that friend too leads a decent lifestlye..He still uses his 4 year old laptop

my dad uses a 8 year old toshiba laptop, never buys a phone for more than 10k , when we look to replace cars i tell him all the cool cars but at the end he always ends up buying a maruti(800,esteem,estilo,swift)..lol

haha

its not as extreme as u think ..there is nothing wrong with that laptop apart from a few dead pixels(though i heard dad telling that its mouse pad is gone)..and since my dad is of good age he cant grasp any of the smartphones quickly so he stays with old nokia...(as in the case of many other people)...i will probably be purchasing a alienware next january

i am only 20 ...my dad will buying (i have only savings from my pocket money).. its only a possiblilty
i am a keen gamer and looking to replace my 4 year old pc

my bro in dubai happens to own a alienware m19x highest configuration at around 1.2 lacs
in india the same is about 2.32 lacs

if i buy one it will be definitely be from dubai
