    Guess this has to do with our typical Indian Mentality we crib each time petrol price increases but never stop driving our vehicles.50 rupees or 5000 rupees if we decide to buy a bike we buy even if price gets increased but cant help saying why now.Guess its about the Indian way of living

      Bajaj prices up by max 5000..? I guess that 5k hike must be done on NS,as its most expensive bajaj bike...? Can anyone post on road delhi ns prices..?

        It's not so much to do with the 'mentality' as it is to do with 'helplessness' (majburi ) The problem is its not in our hands.
        Also when I first saw the news about price hike, I read a top commenter's post saying, "when the demands up, the price will rise. Its simple economics" . He is right actually.

          India is currently an unsteady economy and at the moment, things don't look too good. Manufacturers can move on without the price hike but then their profit will be affected. Like someone rightly pointed out, the increase is not going to affect the demand at all. So why not increase the prices especially if you have an excuse to do it.

          Population is not a liability, it's the asset of a nation. In India, that resource is not properly utilised. Politicians and, to a certain extent the people themselves are to be blamed.

            Its all because there is big hand of our government's useless policies which is causing to common people and companies as well, the top of the management and gov. in India is fail from every where....

              japans economy is not stronger than us,nor larger..its just robust they recover from temporary problems quickly
              it is also highly volatile economy beacause they are highly export oriented

                  'us' in this statement definitely means india what i said above is true ...look up the fact and figures..
                  india overtook japan couple of years ago in terms of GDP(PPP)
