While the EBR 1190RX will share the engine from the 1190RS, the design is different. We expect we will have more details from the launch tomorrow.

The 1190RX is the first model to come out since Hero MotoCorp became a 49.2% shareholder in the American motorcycle marque, so it will be interesting to see if the Indian motorcycle company’s capital and manufacturing ability can help Erik Buell Racing lower the 1190RX’s price tag into an affordable realm for die hard motorcyclists. We’re expecting something in the $20,000 range.

EBR’s debut at the AIMExpo is an interesting move, as the trade show is hoping to become the American equivalent to Italy’s EICMA show.

Having manufacturers, like Erik Buell Racing, debut motorcycles at the show is one sure-fire way of making the AIMExpo a success. It will however be a tough pitch to get European OEMs onboard, which likely will be the ultimate determinant on the show’s continuation. Interesting stuff.

The new ZMR and ZMA have borrowed their rear cowl and stop lamp design from this bike. But must say, it looks better and more proportionate on this bike!

Wait for the proper and final Hero-EBR bike to be launched.. The rear ends and tail lights your talking about are just facelifts given to the current models.

Point to be accepted.. I don't think there is no point in talking about the partnership without having to know what they have to offer and by just looking into the current package..

lets wait and see how the 250cc is going to be

                    keeping my fingers crossed

this is where the new zma and zmr designs came from
the front dual headlight and the rear designs r kind of similer
but got to tell u the new zmr looks better than the zma
rather opposite to what was in previous times
more ovr does any one knows wheather hero is making any configuration changes in these bikes or they r just the same old wine in bottle
as for these, they are more or less the same.. as you said, old wine in new bottle.. as hero itself said these are just facelift models..
and they will release new bikes in 2014..

                          Ride safe and have fun.
