It was a bike showcased by TVS few years ago and not just a mod by South Asian people, it was showcased to gauge people's response. . .

https://autoneedz.wordpress.com/2011...torcycle-show/ read here to know more about it . . . That was a concept which was showcased back then, but now it seems like TVS is trying to bring that concept into a production ready bike. . . Well, I do agree that the test mule bike isn't exactly the same as the Velocity, but if you look closely, you will find a lot of things which are similar to the test mule, especially the exhaust, the body, the headlights and so on. . . It's like TVS is taking some bits from the Velocity and Draken too to come out with a totally new product. . . I wrote the article after,
    1. Confirming myself by comparing both the images and finding the similarities between the two.
    2. After taking inputs from a guy who saw the bike up close and personal and he was damn sure that the concept bike looked pretty much the same as the Velocity, so there you go . . . Hope I have made it clear. . .

    Cheers!!!

      Re: TVS-BMW 250 Naked/ Adventure: xBhp News

People now days believe everything they read on any tom. dick and harry's website, even before waiting for the real thing to happen. Anyone can start a blog on wordpress or start a website giving any random info. There is no check to these
There is a difference between speculation, showcasing and launches.

So as per "websites", these should have been the new TVS bikes, but I dont remember these being launched. They were just "showcased"

Now coming to the test mule that was spotted.
Whats wrong in resembling some other bike. Cant the manufacturers take ideas from other places/bikes. E.g : The trademark Pulsar tail light is exact copy of Suzuki SV650.
My point being at a given time, any bike might look like some other bike from some angle but might differ from other point of view.

Now the differences in the TVS Velocity and the test bike.

      1) No front brake oil reservoir as the TVS velocity
      2) The dome is smaller.
      3) A big radiator
      4) The front disc is different in this image and the last posted image.
      5) The tail section is too naked, I could not find the tail lights, until and unless they give a Duke looking tail.
      6) An exhaust with no heat shield and different from "double barreled" TVS Velocity's
      7) Again the rear disc are different
      8) Are these for belly pan or underbody exhaust

Now after this different people with different "resources" or "friends" might disagree . but all I can say, whats wrong in WAITING for the final product and not jump to conclusions. I wont mind if I am wrong when it gets launched. But I would rather wait that just saying that it resembles an old showcased bike, or it looks like a different bike.

I would still wait for the final product(s) before assuming what it may look like. I prefer not following any site/blog just because its been written or published in this world of binary. PERIOD

That's actually good as there are lots and lots of people in this world of binary waiting to know how a product might look before it is launched. . . So, my and article writers like me, write for them . . .

Am done, I don't want to waste anymore of my time in this. . .
