Yamaha India is planning to set up production fascilities for 50 lakh units in the next 7 years.
Yamaha India is also hoping to achieve 10% market share in the next two years. Yamaha also hopes to export 30% of its India Production.

Currently Yamaha India has two plants in India, one in Greater Noida and the other is in Faridabad. The total production capacity of these two plants is 10 lakh units.
Yamaha India has also postponed the setting up of a Rs 1500 crore new plant in Chennai by a year due to the economic slowdown.
