    Agree to the rest.
By "Aamir's Bike" in Dhoom3, I meant any BMW K1300R. Took Aamir's and Dhoom3's name for easy recall and not necessarily the model that was used in that movie.

P.S: Just check the date in which the comment was made. It was before the movie was launched.
By the way I have not yet seem the movie and have no clue if its a Batmobile or a stock bike.

A STOCK BMW K1300R has got a Clip on like Handlebar.

I know sir. I'd agreed to your post when you originally posted it. My recent post was for fun.

It's no secret that Triumph has been developing a new single-cylinder machine to target the booming Indian/Asian motorcycle market and also capture new riders in developed markets. We already showed you a spy shot of the naked single last month; now our spies have captured the first image of the fully faired sports model that will be the flagship of British maker's new lightweight line.

Following the pattern established with its 675cc triples, Triumph is developing both a naked "Street Single" and a faired "Daytona 250." Aside from bodywork and riding position, expect the two bikes to be identical under the plastic. Technically, both follow the layout of the bike Triumph sees as its main rival: Honda's CBR250R. That means a tubular-steel chassis with a simple, box-section swingarm and an all-new, DOHC, water-cooled, 250cc single for power. Expect between 25 and 30 hp, and a last-minute capacity hike to match Honda's recently announced CBR300R can't be ruled out either. Suspension will be simple and cheap—getting these bikes down to CBR250R cost parity will be vital to their success.
This project represents more than just another new model for Triumph; it represents the start of a plan that, if successful, will transform the firm. These new singles won't be built in Britain, or even in Triumph's facility in Thailand, but in a new factory in Karnataka, India, instead. Once fully online, Triumph expects to produce around 300,000 bikes per year at its Indian factory—six times the output of the company's current British and Thai factories combined. While the majority of that extra volume will go directly into the Indian market, the new singles are intended to appear in dealers all around the world, including America.

Any latest news/confirmation?? What is the expected price??
Eagerly waiting for this bike. IMO the design of the naked bike..bug eyes..will be deal breaker for many. I like the faired bike more. Would prefer that over the naked bike.

^^^ with its main rivals raising the stakes with 300cc + and/or twin cylinders, this bikes will require something special to counter them. Triumph has invested substantially in these projects, to the extent that their bottom line has been drastically affected for past financial year. Somehow, I feel they have been caught wrong footed on this one but the sudden introduction of new EU bike licensing norms.

Triumph makes good bikes but are a tad too costly. Quality is also low compared to the Japs is what I've heard.!!

                  Any update on this, anyone?

Frankly speaking I have been waiting for this bike since long time. Precisely why I haven't bought N300 yet. And 2015 seems even more long wait, errr.

With triumph I won't be surprised if the 2015 becomes 2016 or 2017 for India, no point in waiting..

You are wasting your time there mate. Get yourself a N300 and enjoy the ride. You have an option of R25 though which will be launched towards the end of this year

+1, totally agree with this. I have now had the N300 for almost 16 months now. Its been a total blast. Waiting for something thats over the horizon is a waste of time while you could be out enjoying the ride. Triumph has invested very heavily in these products. But as of now testing is going on in Europe. Before it is launched over here, it will be tested under local conditions. Conservatively, every bike maker takes about a year to test the vehicle before it is introduced in the market. This is the bare minimum that they will do, so forget about this bike if you want something in the near future.
