Re: Ducati India to restart operations from March 18

Looks like they want to sell the bike through CBU but though this route is quickest to setup and costs least money it will not really give them any returns at all. I guess they know this and want to test the waters. The CBU route hasn't worked out quite well for Kawasaki who have been here for quite some time and are much widely known brand then for likes of Ducati it is basically a non-starter IMO. This is mainly because India is yet not a good market for these kind of bikes and will take maybe 5-10 years to get there if at all we do. The problem ranges with infrastructure to customer service and regulations. We are far behind other asian countries but the current recession pushes every automobile maker to take a shot at India which is nice thing for those waiting to own such bikes but not a long term proposition for those making them.

Re: Ducati India to restart operations from March 18

The Ducati showroom in Bombay is going to be located in Bandra (west). It is in the same place the Harley Davidson showroom was earlier (they moved to a much bigger place in Turbhe) and diagonally opposite the Royal Enfield showroom.
While work seems to going on inside, I saw the big red board outside while driving by as the tape keeping the name hidden had torn and was flying in the wind.

899 Panigale at 13 lakhs, Diavel at 13.82

Ducati India's price list is out.

I think the Daytona can now R.I.P.

What is the exact location of the service centre/showroom in Gurgaon? Can someone share a google Map Link?

                Thanks

                    Scrambler is priced pretty sweet.

                    Ride safe and have fun.

I think the pick of the lot are the 899 and diavel.

Pricing is indeed right. This is what I received via whatsapp one month back. Kept the list to myself but I guess it's out in open everywhere now.

The Bonnie(Scrambler), The Daytona(899), the Striple, Z800 (796 Corse Stripe ABS) are all in trouble imo.
And then you also have the multistrada to kill multiple genres and make people change the genre they were looking at !
Ducati looks serious this time !

The last line in the image says 'expected date of delivery ...' Is that mentioned as well ?
