              Manufacurers like suzuki, honda and kawak and yamaha are selling the big bikes from their factory to factory, ie the sale is inter entity so this means that the cbu is export at ex factory price from thiland and japan, leading to better pricing in india which most others are missing out on like ducati, triumph.

                Yes there is a zx14 tht was taken to delhi and one to bangalore. Purchased in full downpayment and registered in Dl and kA. Cost about 50k extra to transport to destination.

                You need mh temp registration then bring to your home town and register paying the full road tax.



                Added info - same is the case for lambos and ferrari with ka reg was done

                    that south Delhi KTM showroom was once KTM South Delhi.
                    they change it to Kawasaki now.

                        Well , I went to Delhi Showroom a couple of days ago and want to share my experience.. It was great to see all bikes in real. I posted some pics and frankly speaking the pictures do not do justice to these bikes. In real world they look completely different and big. J

                        Z1000 is a tank. I am roughly medium built, 5'11 with 32 in seam and when I sat on Z1000 , I looked so small on that bikes :P . Even though I am not planning to buy a litre class i4 bike but I am afraid even if I had to, I wouldn’t be able to live with such big machine…
                        Since this thread is about Z800 , I am going to focus on it. I have posted some pics and pricing details of it. Pls check it out.
                        A lot of people are comparing ST with Z800 since they are closely priced. Well, now that I have seen both the bikes in real , I can definitely write how I felt of the both bikes in terms of looks.
                        ST looks more fine , chiseled , smooth and curvy where as Z800 looks quite big when compared to ST . Z800 has got this mean, rough, pointed and beastly looks. ST has a low profile looks compared to Z800. I guess it has to do with number of cylinders. An inline 4 is definitely wider than inline three, so that gives z800 big broad look compared to ST.Z800 definitely has more muscle than a ST. but personally I preferred the lean, easy looks of ST.
                        I could write a lot , but forgive me, I wrote this thing in a hurry while on my way to airport. Pls ask any details if you want to.

                            First Z800's to hit chennai(may-be south india) Captured this beauty in chennai race track. The video is based on sweet in-line 4 idling & revving by 4k rpm. Really..really love the music .

                            I spoke to the owner who trades of his N650 for Z800. He brought from pune showroom for 7.99 lakhs ex-showroom. For chennai the on-road cost is 9.20 lakhs as said by the owner. My calculation is correct!
