        Don't know what fun does YAMAHA get by updating colors??

        They should change their name to YAMAHA COLOR DYNAMIC MOTORS LTD.

        The SVC manager was saying by June there will R25 launch in India. I don't trust him anymore because he is saying this news of R25 from last 1 yr.

        But still R25 has not been launched here.

        But some where in corner of my heart I feel this should get true as it was seen in EXPO.

              The Black and Gold looks good, not sure why many are expecting more than a new lick of paint at this price. The 250 will come at some point, though I doubt it will come close to the RC390 in terms of price, features and performance, top speed and possibly overall quality may be better, it all depends on pricing and which one reaches the public first.

                      Hold your horses people! The thread title explicitly says - New colors for FZ, R15........

                      Why're we discussing R25 here? It was at the expo, hence it'll come by next year (or before). After all, one cannot expect it (the 250) to be production ready so soon. It'll be a global bike, hence Yamaha is playing its cards carefully. It'll win back its buyers and loyalists once it hits the showrooms!

                      Also, it won't make as much power or cost as less as the D390, but it might eventually sell more. That's the USP of Yamaha. Quality (while packing a punch with a small fist)!

                      BTW, I too love the white-red model R15.
                      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

                        Limited Edition!!! Special Edition!!! Limited Edition 2!!! Special Edition 2!!! Limited Edition 3!!! Special Edition 3!!! - each of them are made in lots of 5,000 to 10,000!!!

                        What is so limited or special about them??? With thousands of limited and special editions on the road, the words 'limited' and 'special' don't seem so exclusive when a another so called 'limited' or 'special' edition comes and stands besides your 'limited' or 'special' edition bike. Yamaha needs to get off this dead horse of a marketing strategy and do something drastic to freshen up its production line. Getting tired of seeing 'limited' and 'special' editions on every street corner.

                          Ahaa, some more color combo and graphical features. The next update from Yamaha will be "Choose your own color", that will feature graphics all over the body with out of the world color combos, maybe pink and green, orange and yellow :banghead:

                          Looks like Yammy wants to see the frustration on our face and have a smile.

                            News: Management of Yamaha sacked all their designers/engineers and have hired people from yesteryear Hero Honda group which gave exemplary and impeccable products like Splendour++, Passion ++, CBZ ** etc.

                            *the sentence above is a sarcasm and dig for the once famous company for high quality and performance. No brand wars intended...
