Kawasaki has unveiled the naked version of the single cylinder ninja 250 RR Mono in the form of the Z250SL(super light-weight) in Japan. This bike has a single cylinder, 249 cc engine mated to a 6 speed transmission. The bike has a dry weight of 148 kg.
The design of the Z250 is edgy and futuristic resembling the rest of the Z lineup, the Z800 and Z1000. For braking duties, The Z250SL gets a 263mm front petal disc with optional ABS.
The suspension and other components will be similar to that of the Ninja 250 with 37 mm front forks and a 5 way preload adjustable Uni-track rear mono-shock.
