No projectors. Only normal reflector with 35/35w bulbs. Maybe you can replace the 35w bulbs with 60w bulbs for better illumination. The LEDs are just parking lights, not exactly DRLs, but you can switch them in the day if you want (the tail lamp and console lights also glow).

Some pics clicked feom my Mobile when i had a test ride of the ZMR 2014.. better in terms of performance over the old ZMR.. though I felt the engine becomes harsh after 5k rpm. It can also be the fact that it was a new bike which just arrived in the showroom..

The side mirrors finally dont vibrate and thats a good news.. checked upto speed of 90kmph..

The bike has better grunt and mid range is much better..

The sitting posture is more sporty thanks to the low handle bars. I felt the wrist pain in just a few kms after me riding a Karizma for more than 11 yrs now.. the sitting posture is something i didnt like as i am more into touring than commuting..

The welcome message now has a Side Stand Sensor which is displayed till you remove the side stand..

The bike definitely looks better in flesh than in pics which is an usual Hero stuff.. But if you guys ask me.. i am happier with my 2010 ZMR

Yes, and in flesh looks better than in pics. But, still can't exactly be termed beautiful.

And BTW, the console is same.

Old ZMR was just an average looking bike for me and now new ZMR is just not good in looks compare to old one, I don't know what hero is doing with such a proved machine.

BTW I am waiting to have look on HX250...

Classic ZMR was Rakhi Sawant and this one is Poonam Pandey. HX 250R looked like Deepika Padukone from certain angles to me.

Doesn't look that bad to me(I'm not a Karizma fanboy btw). Looks are subjective though.

Doesn't look bad but the fairing doesn't fully match with its overall body and the headlight assembly looks odd. But it certainly appears to be very touring friendly and the rear view is still good. I think this is a good bike for the price and will give better options for those whose budget hovers around a lakh+.

I feel that this design is something which grows on you once you own one.

Generally designs of Hero & Honda are like this only, they grow on you with time.

The only drawback in the design is the headlight assembly. Rest of the bike looks good in flesh. If only the headlights were better..

Saw the Karizma R version yesterday. Looks damm good and huge. But it has some similarities with the pulsar 220.

. Looking forward for review from xbhp.
