Any chance you know about any good riding gear store in DELHI NCR, I want to buy some gear to go with RC390,but I am never sure about size/fitting until I could actually try it.Hence, a bit reluctant on ordering such stuff online.

AFAIK. ABS is not even an option for RC200 in India....

Not even as an option...showroom people wont install it. N it will cost 30k if so done by someone else

Driving sensibly means you're less likely to cause an accident. But most accidents with the duke happen because some idiot gets in your way. There is no honest way to prevent this.

Seriously!!! The other day I was driving.. some idiot was walking on the road seeing the right side.. I mean that the vehicles are approaching him.. I was almost about to hit him.. I flashed and honked.. he didn't even care.. when I stopped near him.. he was shocked!! like he was walking on a footpath and we all are only driving dangerously!!! and once other time, there are fools who look the left side when crossing the road!!! seriously!! I feel like slapping such people.. not only that, someone at night wearing a black dress appearing out of a bush suddenly running across the road so that he won't get hit.. I'm done with such fellows!! and finally if we hit 'em, we will be booked under rash and negligent driving.. even the cops are not doing anything.. there's a green signal near a crossroads, only then some fool decides to cross the road running.. till then he/she will be simply standing on the side!! is this some kind of a game or joke to the pedestrians!? if there's a law that if there's green and they cross and if the die, the won't be compensated, they will be more careful!!

instead of writing essays on braking's increasing importance (and the importance of required skill to brake sensitively) the faster one rides and how it's one of the most most important factors to pay attention in motorcycle engineering and in racing, let me just say that each and every professional racer and non-professional but skilled and serious road riders will be baffled by what you said about how people who have the need for speed dont need to care for braking. no offense but can't stop loling and getting baffled at your statement myself.

if braking is not cared for by people who have the genetic need for speed i wonder why in every sportriding schools around the world half the time is spent on teaching, learning and discussing the ultra-importance of correct braking skills on track as well as on the road and why brakes often form one of the primary deciding factors deciding the outcomes of a motogp race, why in the pro-reviews of any kind of bikes and in particular of sportbikes the bike's brakes are one of the main things talked about on which a major percentage of the bike's judgment is based, and so on and so on..not to forget sensitive technical/skilled braking is massively fun.

no offense but kindly refrain from spreading this kind of non-sensible, ideologically wrong/faulty and inexperienced ideas :-) people get injured and even killed because they or someone else were going way faster than they could properly brake..

May be it's because duke 200 sells in more volume and most people buy it as their first motorcycle and can't handle the power
Duke 200 brakes are real good and it doesn't need abs honestly. But its always good to have abs as feature.

yeah.. my hands are itching every time I think about her.. my current unibabe gave her heart out and she's lying idle.. can't ride her anymore..

Wish they have their stocks ready before they launched it.. in that way, customers need not wait for long time, the production will not be under stress and everything will be smooth.. ok 1 week is acceptable.. but 90 days!!! man.. this is frustrating.. BTW this is my first bike that I'm buying new and never thought that waiting periods can be so frustrating.. at office people are like "just get a new bike what the hell are you waiting for!?!?" little do they know that I've already booked the 200 and I'm waiting with grinding my teeth!!! every time they ask the question, I wish I could scream and tell that I'm waiting for my new babe to come home and she's still being held hostage at the hands of my in-law (ktm)!!! and sometimes I wonder that they are more focussed on her elder sister (RC390) more than the cute younger one..

Showroom will not install it that's a given as it is not part of their SOP. But here in Hyderabad for duke 200 at least they install and sell it at the service centre. Could be they don't want to install because of the full fairing as it is a hassle besides it is a track bike and you don't use ABS on track. Others cannot procure the part as it is ktm official part and hence cannot be ordered by third party in bulk. And ktm usually gives you this warranty crap because they don't know how to do it and don't want trouble if something goes wrong. They are just assembly trained. Yes it costs 30k and therfore is not worth it. Then again if you're worried about RC 200 not having ABS then I should tell you that ninja 650 doesn't have it either.
