I live in sec-bad. That's why I said that they are sensible enough NOT to put their special speed breakers on main roads.. in by-lanes, only off-road vehicles can survive.. forget those, my dad's HH CD100 gets hit on the bottom and gets scratched on speed breakers in sec-bad.. the road conditions are pathetic here.. even the CM & govt is interested in putting new roads only at hi-tec city and all.. why?? coz he lives there and they all seem to think that hi-tec is only Hyderabad and there are no people anywhere else.. sorry state it is.. same is the problem with streetlights, forcing people to use high-beam and high-beam has become another menace completely.. I see people driving without a headlight!! potholes are common, even the new roads, they leave some patches with craters. I wonder who checks what the contractors have done. I don't think anybody bothers at all.. also the new patchwork will not be smooth and integrated with the road, it will be like a separate platform and you can feel the bumps of going up and down when entering & exiting the patch.. I seriously want to go and slap all the officials and contractors. I want the CM & his cabinet to daily pass through the sec-bad gullies & by-lanes to have a taste of how much "development" he is giving the city compared to what they say while begging for votes..
The new roads are laid now.. why? coz some foreign delegates are coming who do not pay taxes and all the last minute white-wash for show-off.. and atleast will they maintain those? no. they will happily uproot all the plants & trees, and they finally say that "do not pass the metro rail from here" and "there" coz it's causing dust and stuff.. heritage & religious structures are a completely different topic/headache here.. "sentiment" is something they just say and won't have.. it's pathetic man..
