I don't think that RTO is an issue, they will go through agents anyways.. max is two weeks within which they will get the permanent registration.. if they get the TR, they can start off... but if they cannot even get that, god help them..

I visited them for Duke 200 way back, they also offered the same thing. Think of it as an aftermarket installment done by the showroom to make some extra money. Nothing official.

I dont think its like registration, Its a new model so any new model that is coming has to get an RTO approval only than that model can become legal in that state. Registration or TR will be done after the approval.

Yes!! Approval & Registration (which doesn't need any sort of physical inspection) are two different things!

Guy's is there any one else who's delivery in bangalore is getting delayed because of RTO clearance issue.

I am hearing about this RTO approval form quite a long time now, does it mean the RTO has some concerns regarding the power of the bike which they think is excessive? Or do they think it is a racing bike and hence cannot be ridden on the streets?

There is nothing related to power. If so, duke390 wouldn't have got approval.

Finally Got my bike.

And guess what, despite my booking number being 7 on the waiting list,I was the first person to receive the bike.

Seems like I am the first guy in whole Uttar Pradesh to get the bike.

Not Sure When we are getting the Bike Especially the RC200 Guys

So for now Treated my self with Riding gear. Will be buying the Black/orange Jacket by month my Size was not available.

I think the Helmet will go well with the bike Colour even the jacket when bought..

As pointed out by a few others here, its not registration but something like a clearance. All new models will need to get this or the bike will not even receive a TR and is not supposed to be ridden on the public roads. But like i said if you share a good rapport with the dealer, he may allow you to take it for a spin.
Today i was told that the rc390 test rides would start most probably by Monday.

Competitive price you say....It is definitely going to be 3 Lack plus deal.

Apparently, I was the biggest pain in the KTM SHOWROOM manager's ***. Maybe my continuous follow up with the showroom guys did the trick as manager told me that other people are in sleeping mode and are not enquiring regularly as I did.So he is letting them sleep for a while until the next batch arrives.

I am in a fix to go for MT Axxis Atom Orange helmet or for the 1 that you posted.

Mt Axxis is more sporty than the MT Blade Helmet.

Mt Blade do boast of new NFC Tech. but it's not much of a USP for the helmet.

What I am looking for is comfort and styling.If confort for both Axxis and Blade helmet is similar then Axxis wins my money.

Any suggestion on this?

When i was talking to the riding gear guy today who owns a shop next to KTM showroom.

He said you need to be a pain in there a** or else your delivery will be delayed
