    Well then we aren't stealing, just taking delivery without approval ;-)
    I doubt if there will be a lot of changes/updates with the first/second slot vs 5-6 months down the late. Do you have information that says otherwise ?

          What is the service interval (KMs/months) of RC200? And does it needs RON95 petrol?

            No but I really didn't like the way they've kept the 5 bikes :/ that too one's being used as a display bike ! :/

              Engines are the same as the duke twins so service intervals should be the same. Btw service interval for duke 390 is 5000kms or 70 days.

                No, the display bike is not one of the 5 that arrived last week!

                This display one has always been there since the day of launch.

                At times they keep it in their basement !

                  I called my KTM Showroom manager to enquire on when I could get the temporary number for the bike.And he told that could not happen until RTO in Lucknow approves of it,which will take another 3 days to a minimum.

                  This reluctance in RTO approval seems like a indian version of global epidemic Ebola.

                  Approve the bike already.Bike has been launched,booked,bought,delivered and is here to stay.Give the damn approval!

                    My guess is that the RTO is expecting some "money" for such a high price vehicles that are going to be sold. But what does RTO has to do with this?!?!?! This is crazy man!! What will the RTO gain?? damn how much I would love to burn all those greedy government employees in a furnace!!

                      Mostly because the system is not centralized and all RTOs have to manually update their database.

                            For the uninitiated... This is something that HAS TO BE done for every new vehicle and it takes time.

                            The emission standards, the dimensions, power, capacity etc. dictate lot of calcutions & criteria.

                            And for the record, this is not any out of the world bike which is 'costly'!!
