    a spartan hyperion jacket.

      DRL is something of a specific rule and not a general safety rule which we should simply not blindly apply to India. If it is coming equipped in bikes which are exported then so be it but otherwise I don't see the merit of them to Indian conditions. Our is a tropical country with plenty of sun 365 days a year unlike the US and European countries and this rule doesn't make sense.

      This gives another tool for policemen to harass bikers at the junctions to get some easy bribe. If going by the principle then why only 2 wheeler's why doesn't it apply for all vehicles?

      Or, could it be that the RTO is actually objecting to DRL being present?

        The RC does not have any DRLs. Those are usual pilot lights which come on only when you turn them on.

        Further, since the RC has already been registered in most of the other states, the discussion on any DRL requirements for registration is moot.

          Agree here!

          And don't think the the DRL can be an issue because lot of other bikes already have it. Just my two cents!

              Looks great bro, even i had a look today at the DSG jacket (EVO) but got confused while buying.

              The small one fitted exactly but felt a bit tight though and the medium one was a bit more comfortable, so I am a little confused now to buy which one.

              The store guy was telling me to take the small one as its the one that fitts better but i wanted something which is a little more comfy.

              so can you please suggest what should i go for SMALL OR MEDIUM as this will be my first riding jacket :-)

              That is true guys.

              What my dealer told me is that ,RC390 is not even in RTO's list of 2 wheelers. So the approval that we are talking about is the approval to get the bike listed in RTO'S 2-wheeler list.
              Once that gets approved,Bike registration numbers could be forwarded to RTOs for approval.

              I went to my dealer today and he told that its unlikely that approval will come this week, it will be only in the next week...god knows if even that is true.

                How can a new bike like RC390 be the RTO list of bikes? This is totally ridiculous and I bet that there is some shit happening behind the scenes.

                I had been to the dealer today and he said RTO has given approval for RC200 but not yet for RC390, when I asked why that way as RC390 came out first, he spit out some nonsense.

                  Ok Guys to my surprise I got a call today from Dealer to get the payment done

                  I asked him when will be i getting the bike. most probably first or second week of novmeber

                  This i am telling in pune.. I am going to dealer tomorrow i hope i get one soon.....

                        The problem isn't India, the problem is Bangalore - had it upto my neck with the RTO guys here., especially with the way they treat Non KA cars even though it's here just for a weekend.
