    They haven't given a clear idea on what exactly is pending; but according to the different showrooms that we have here in Bangalore RTO approval for the bike isn't done which is preventing them from giving test rides and delivery of bikes( in few cases).

      i am very happy today
      Today i made the remaining payment for my Beast (RC390)
      Now wait is almost over getting it on Lakshmi Poojan which i wanted from start
      BTW i booked at Navi Mumbai KTM ; the showroom manager Mr. Veerendra Negi is very helpful
      2 more days to go

        Yes, you heard it right! There is no official announcement from KTM India yet, but our sources have informed us that the company is planning to introduce the slipper clutch for the RC motorcycles.

            is this something that's kind of ABS?? Hopefully it's available for putting on at a later stage for our first gen RCs..

              rc deliveries at hyderabad,ktm banjara start from Diwali. 10 Rc's this month.. 4 x200's and 6x 390's. that's all the they have in stock for October.
              rode the rc390 around a bit, definitely not comfortable and will be a pain to ride in traffic..at least for me who is 6ft and over 86kgs.

                Incorporating a slipper clutch will not be so easy unless it is already in the works and they just have to assemble it and it will also raise the cost by a bit. So even if the news is true then it possibly wont make it into the RCs until second half of next year.

                I particularly don't see a reason why it is needed in RC390 and I don't prefer it since I am used to engine braking and do not want the slipper clutch to reduce that braking effect.

                    That's a draft as of now and not an compulsion but yes, this IS going to be mandatory once the law has been passed and the onus will be on the company to get the necessary changes done in all of their vehicles.

                            All the Bangalore RTOs are busy seizing and harassing non KA vehicles. Perhaps that explains the delay.
