At least some encouraging positive news from Suzuki. Suzuki right now is at the bottom of big global motorcycle brand pyramid. Right from the flagship Gixxers and hayabusas to the humble commuters in India, all the models are screaming one thing: AGE!! Despite being well made and brilliantly engineered to last, the bikes are now being looked upon as old hat in Europe and the states.
In fact in Uk and US, the flagships are now being offered at dirt cheap rates on discount. People here would go crazy when the hear the prices of brand new Suzuki GSX1000Rs in the US and Europe. And this is not to clear stock for an imminent launch of a newer version. It's more a desperate measure to shore up sales.
This after the closure of the four wheeler business in America(In India the 4 wheeler business is very strong even now though). So it's been only about decline for Suzuki for some time now.
Same goes for India. People don't buy suzuki despite the su[per refined engines and good build quality because Suzuki usually churn up products which have limited appeal when it comes to look and feel. This is why the Gixxer is such an important launch for Suzuki. This is the first time in long time that Suzuki has launched something which has got people talking.
I really hope this bike does well and suzuki picks up the pace globally too. We don't want the big 4 to turn into big 3 , do we?

I did post a news with the leaked pictures of the GSX 150R. Awaiting mods to open it sometime when more info comes out.
