  • Hero MotoCorp files patent to launch its bikes in USA

Hero MotoCorp is now ready to launch its range of motorcycles and scooters in the US. The Indian company has commenced filing of trademarks for 8 of its models with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

On August 19, Hero filed trademarks for models Splendor, Pleasure, Karizma, Hunk and Eco Deluxe. Similarly, on August 29, the balance of trademarks were filed for Xtreme Sports, Splendor Pro Classic and the HX250R, all of which will be making their way to the US. Bikes apart from the Xtreme Sports and HX250R are on sale in India right now. While Xtreme Sports is pegged for launch this festive season, HX250R will be launched in the country by 2015.

Hero MotoCorp had initially announced plans of partnering with Erik Buell Racing, in which the company has a 49% stake, for import of motorcycles to the US, However, these plans have currently been put on hold. Hero bikes will have to go through a vigorous testing process in the US and sales are most likely to commence in the summer of 2016.

    News Verified/Approved

Hero is definitely into it, and with style.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END
