Really? Seems redundant as the difference in riding conditions between the two countries is comparable to the difference between heaven and hell. Quite literally so.

                  Valid point..

OT.. a small doubt that comes to mind after seeing the post quoted.. were the ninja 250/300 or the CBR 150/250 tested in India?

Ninja no but cbr yes. Ninjas are imports even to date and were only tested post sale by independent riders for online reviews.

It's not only a Hero bike. It has Buell characteristics. I mean to say, it will be sold in the US of A. HMC said that clearly during the expo. Makes sense its undergoing tests there. Hope it lands on our roads soon.

Hmmm............. Makes sense testing it there if that's the case. Small capacity bikes are getting popular in the states again now. I also hope it lands on our shores soon. It will take hero out of its old bike new package attitude.

Would like to share a bit more information about the hx 250r. the buell dealer from which my freind got his XB12r claims that buell will lauch 3 bikes between 200-400cc next year one being a naked bike 200cc, other 2 are faired sports. the production will be done in india and for usa the bike will come into sale under name hero-ebr. there will be custom set up for usa with a bit of addons like custom exhaust, higher lift cam, master brake cyclinder and lot more. this will be a seperate performance package. the joint hero ebr will also organize track events

Came across these entries for the HX250R (?) imports from the USA.
I am pretty sure its the HX250R as EBR RACing does not have any 250cc bike otherwise.\"\"

That's strange. Could these be the mules that had been sent to USA for testing (there was also a spy pic from US) and are now being shipped back to India.

They could have had some inputs like change this or change that this is good for US streets.

Doesn't make much sense. I wonder if Zauba has got them the wrong way. Maybe its the other way around?

Re: Hero MotoCorp Sources Magneti Marelli Fuel Injector For HX250R

I think that EBR is doing the design & development of the bike and then they are shipping prototypes to India so it can be tested in Indian conditions, like the BMW K03 prototypes.
Also these import listings are separate entries spread across a few months, so I don\'t think they are errors. A specific search displays these entries in a consolidated fashion as seen in the image.
So the HX250R should be spotted testing in the NCR sometime unless Hero keeps it within its own grounds.
