    you are right, I posted this at the time of auto expo and its launch that hero has transferred the previous generation xtreme's design to sports version in a more sharper form.

      Frankly speaking ,even current so called xtreme looks a 100cc commuter bike to me ,hell the previous xtreme looked way more better .
      @hero_motocorp, hire some innovative uptodate designing guys yaar. Your bike looks too much disgusting ,unlike earlier days ,karizma 2014 ,xtreme 2014 ,all look some messed up .
      Try a monoshock pls.

        I agree with mr anuj gupta there i loved old look of xtreme even 2014 is not bad but this new SPORT is just shit design :P EXCEPT MORE POWER

            Key hole behind indicator for a bike without engine kill switch is definitely Bonkers !!
            Imagine dealing with long traffic jams with this kind of key positioning. Hero just keep avoiding the kill switch.

                  Forget that, think about the key itself. You can't get good strong key chains for the bike coz the keychain will loosen the key causing it to po out of the key hole in on position after a while. Not to mention how easy it becomes for anyone to tamper with the lock unnoticed even in crowded area. Additionally, the lock will also be weaker as there will be considerably high force on it from turning the handlebars.

                      So let me get this straight.

                      In the beginning of 2014 Hero refreshed the Xtreme with a new design and a new instrument console. They also made the seat a single unit instead of a split seat. And a few changes here and there.

                      This Xtreme failed miserably.

                      So now they are launching the bike that they were supposed to replace by launching the same bike again with new graphics and a (minor) bump in power.

                      I ask you this Hero. Why did you have to go through all this hassle if you just couldn't make an already good bike better?

                      I think someone at Hero has gone mad. Other than the HX250 I see nothing of interest coming from Hero's stable.

                        Omigosh!! Another extremely confusing cbz xtreme. Design development in Hero has gone for a toss. Whats happening! They are coming up with drabs one after the other:screwy:. First they screwed up the karizma, then attempted splendor gt and passion enduro :banghead:. I have literally lost count on the number of xtreme models launched at every 6 month interval. I pity the guys who are looking out for a used xtreme in seconds market, they have to memorise n recall umpteen xtreme models.

                              Let's review the entire CBZ line for a minute. First it was CBZ (best one to date according to me), then CBZ star, CBZ xtreme, then CBZ xtreme blazing (with the red alloy in the rear and new tail style), then new xtreme with better styling and a hideous crucifix like speedo console and key hole cover thing, then new xtreme v2 (with the vehicle immobilizer feature and new ebr inspired tail). And now finally they are launching this one with the ridiculous key hole position.
                              So with that count it makes more like seven versions to date of CBZ linup alone and of xtreme there are five.
                              Like it or not Hero really has gone bonkers. What with bikes like hx250 and hastur ready for production they are still sticking to their copy paste policy from their early splendor years.

                                Hi, I am not into product bashing and I don't intend to disrespect anyone's ride. Infact I love both cbz and pulsar because they were the one's to usher in a new era in Indian biking. But don't u think Hero should have done something better than refurbishing the same old xtreme and again hogging! If u felt that my post was too loud, then well am not bothered. I posted on behalf of people like me, coming from rural areas. They are not as highly informed as u. And I have seen how business goes on in seconds market in rural areas. And ya, as u said such people will be like tushaar kapoor in golmaal, honest, innocent and gullible.
