Thanks for the pics! So they have got the 899 and 1130 finally in the showroom. Did you notice any visual differences in them? Can someone distinguish betw the two? Also, when are they offering test rides? On thursday they were offering for the 300 and the 600s.

few things I noticed, I ll list whats not available on the 899 - Small Windshield, Carbon fibre exhaust, Not sure if 899 also gets Dry clutch

All of them have dry clutches. And god are they hard!

A dumb question though..DS, I have seen Benelli bikes having a open clutch cover. Does it require any special assistance since it is going to one hell of a dirt collector.

Yup. Also, the alternator and other wizardry under the tank is left open. One would need to be super careful in dust and rain alike.

TNT 1130 being hydraulic clutch was also hard why is that??
Hydraulic clutch usually are very smooth

Divya Bhai, the 899 has a wet clutch. That was a major difference between the 1130 n the 899

And I think only the 1130 has a dry clutch.

The dry clutch operation is visible n looks quite cool. But a load of dust will collect in that fancy cover. Though the dust will not interfere with the engine oil n oil filter like wet clutches, I think a closed cover would have been better. I am not sure about the hydraulic part though.

Ah such fancy bits! Radiators on the sides, open clutch covers, no heat shields on the exhausts. This is going to be one high maintenance girlfriend!!

Oh is it? All Benellis on Thank You ride had super hard clutch feel.

The 899 and 1130 bikes displayed in Bangalore, both have wet clutch. They did not have the open clutch covers.

The technical head was quick to point out that the dry clutch will be provided only if the customer insists. Owners risk he says.

yes, only the TNT 1131 gets the open hydraulic dry Clutch

How diff does a dry clutch function over a wet one. Anything specific ?? Sorry for this dumb question.
