You are right, GSK benelli service cost is sky high with very short service interval.Originally posted by kannanmr16 View Postsigpic

I dont think so. All the things that need revealing have been revealed. Nothing more left atleast for this AutoExpo. Very disappointing stuff from Yamaha. Really. HMSI as always dont fail at disappointing us.Originally posted by iVinay View PostWhy hasn't Yamaha made any announcement around MT-03? Any chance of it being announced over the next few days? I'm extremely disappointed.

re: Yamaha MT-03 launch soon!
First, they have not advertised the R3 properly. And then they don't supply stock to the dealers stating a ridiculous rule of some sales numbers. There are no test drives ... and Yamaha ASC are the worst in the nation.Originally posted by nagoo View Postseems like they have not impressed by the sale of R3 , no they are not interested , or they may launch later in the year
They have to be serious before they can expect people to give their hard earned money for their 'high-end' expensive product.
This is the most booming segment and the Japs have been idiots in not capitalizing that. No MT-03, no Z300, no CBR300, but rather launch irrelevant stuff like MT-09When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Yamaha MT-03 (naked R3) to be launched soon in India
The upcoming festive season will be a feast for motorcycle enthusiasts. Bajaj Auto is all set to launch VS400, BMW G 310 R and MotoGuzzi V9 Roamer and Bobber are in the pipeline. Adding more excitement, emerging reports say Yamaha will launch the MT-03 in India.
A Report in Zigwheels claims that the Yamaha MT-03 will be priced around Rs 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Yamaha MT-03 is basically a stripped-down version of Yamaha YZF-R3 to attain naked, streetfighter looks. The MT-03 is devoid of the fully fairing of the R3 and it comes with a single-pod headlight. It has more conventional single piece and wide handlebar instead of clip-on handle bars of newer bikes. True to its naked street bike DNA, the MT-03 comes with a muscular tank, small tail lamp and exposed frame.
MT-03 is powered by a 321cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that belts out 41.6bhp at 10,750rpm and peak torque of 29.6Nm at 9,000rpm. The mill is mated to a six-speed constant mesh gearbox. The motorcycle weighs just 165kg, about four kilograms less than the YZF-R3. The MT-03 runs on 120/70 and 140/70 section tyres at the front and rear respectively on 17-inch alloy wheels. The motorcycle will feature disc brakes for both wheels 298mm at front and 220mm at rear, while dual-channel Anti-lock Braking system is expected as standard in India.
Yamaha MT-03 will come to India via the CKD route from Indonesia. If Yamaha prices MT-03 at Rs 2.75 lakh, it will be cheaper by Rs 50,000 compared to the YZF-R3 which is priced at Rs 3.25 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The MT-03 will go up against Kawasaki Z250, DSK Benelli TNT300 and the upcoming BMW G 310 R.

Re: Yamaha MT-03 (naked R3) to be launched soon in India
Pardon me but for all the rumors about Japs , the success rate is barely 25% from rumors to reality. I am ready to hang myself upside down if this get launched in India. That;s the level of confidence i had on Japs when it comes to launching good bikes for in India. I would perhaps exclude Kawasaki , rest are happy selling 100 / 125 cc scooters .Originally posted by Nairrk View PostThe upcoming festive season will be a feast for motorcycle enthusiasts.
