Lol, it's government policy. As I wrote in my previous post, look at their military designs. Reverse engineered planes, warships, subs what not!

China is a superpower, even if it agrees to treaties, they're hardly liable for individual businesses' actions.

With a figure of 23 bhp, I guess they couldn't copy everything too well, or did they? Did they have some broken block pistons trying to reach 14000 rpm?

My opinion is that we better get a CBR 250 making 25 bhp than this stuff... And frankly speaking, its your life. You wanna risk it relying on some shady garage in Hengsha Gardens, be my guest...!

I don't recommend such a shady copy, because I've seen even products from reputed companies failing. Did anyone forget the stall issue on a British (imported) motorcycle recently?
God forbid something happens, how can a China firm protect us when even a British firm can't assure safety in their Rs. 10 Lacs motorcycle?

I'd much rather trust a 300 kmph superbike made by TVS or Bajaj, far more reliable than to go for a 100 kmph Chinese bike.
Even though both of the above might either fail or succeed at the long term.
