  • Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT edition launched in India -Silently

Kawasaki India silently launched the Ninja 300 KRT edition in India. The KRT stands for Kawasaki Racing Team edition and the special version comes with a differently styled livery.
Though the company has not released an official statement yet, the vehicle is already on display at the Kawasaki India dealerships. The KRT edition has been priced at Rs 3.61 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai, reports MotorBeam. The KRT edition essentially replaces the existing special edition that Kawasaki introduced in November 2015.Ninja 300 KRT edition features black and green livery in place of the white and green paint combination of the previous special edition. The new model also features KRT edition badges near the fuel cap and the lower section of the fairing. The new colour combination has been inspired from the Kawasaki factory racing team participating in the World Superbike Championship.
The motorcycle continues to draw power from liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel twin engine that develops 38.4bhp at 11,000rpm and 27Nm of torque at 10,000 mated to six-speed transmission. Kawasaki employed Ninja 300 with 37mm hydraulic telescopic fork at front and 5-way adjustable preload mono suspension at rear. The brakes for front wheel come from 290mm petal-type single disc with 2-piston hydraulic calliper at front and 220mm disc at rear.
The motorcycle measures 2,015mm in length, 715mm width and 1110mm in height with 1405mm wheelbase. The motorcycle comes with ground clearance of 140mm and weights 172kg.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 locks horn against the Yamaha R3. One of the disappointing misses in the Ninja 300 is the lack of ABS, which will be introduced to the next generation, due in 2017.

Overdesigned, so many stripes that the beauty of the fairing is lost.

I never liked the Ninja 300 before.. And now i started hating this design even more.. One of the reasons for which I opted for a used Ninja 250 over a new Ninja 300

          Karizma - 2k3 to 2009

Hunk - Oct 2k7 til now
          ZMR - 2010 to Forever
          RX135(2k) - 2013 to 2018
          Ninja 250R (2010) - 2016 til now
          RayZ - 2015 til now

Its just a sticker job ... didn't see the ABS ring in the bike I saw in the showroom. The KRT worldwide (launched 2014) actually gets ABS though !!!

It looks amazing in person in my humble opinion. Far far better than that white stripes from the Anniversary edition.

Thought while I was in Bangalore might as well get a test drive as I've never ever ridden a Ninja 300 before ... but they said bike was only available in this livery and the normal one was not avlb. Kawa dealerships just suck ....
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.
