        The dismal double/triple digit monthly sales figures of sport bikes above 200cc in the 2 lakh and over price range is why most manufacturers don't want to launch anything new in India unless they're manufacturing it locally for export as priority.

        So the chances of seeing a CKD 250RR is a lot lot slimmer. As of now it is only selling in Indonesia and Japan and one or two 250cc restricted countries so anybody asking HMSI if they will import it is a futile exercise.

          Honda fears that the 250RR will suffer the same fate as the R3. Promising numbers initially, then rapidly dwindling sales due to the Duke 390's popularity and low pricing. That's just too sad!

          I am planning to buy this new Repsol Livery edition anyway. Tired of waiting for new launches. Even the G310 GS launch will take almost 11-12 months, at least. Losing out on actual riding due to this waiting that doesn't seem to end!

            I am not hoping for cbr250rr but atleast they can update this 250cc engine with 29 bhp or they can bring that 300cc version will increase its sales

                  In 2013 the Repsol Edition was 6000Rs more than ABS model. Might be similar pricing this time. Bookings are open at dealerships.

                    Actual reason to change is my shoulder and collarbone..... So I thought of going back to Apache (which made be a sensible rider)... But it's not withstanding the long drives... So the cbr comes in.... Is it a good idea to jump in to cbr or should I go to some other manufacturers...

                        If you are looking for a confortable bike then I must say cbr250 is a good option but still I feel you should wait for bikes like bajaj cs or kratos 400, bmw's g310r and yamaha fz250. I guess these bikes are almost ready for launch in next 2-3 months.

                          Thank you for your advice Naveen1985;1263509.... I am opting for cbr because I don't want a bike with more electrical advancement... Because I have experienced a lot with my RC 200... Sensors fail miserably sometimes... Sometimes they show false readings on speedometer...

                            For me it appears like Honda discontinued 250R temporarily as it thought of introducing either 300R or 500 but then later changed the decision to retain/resume the current 250R until the there is better market demand.

                              I think all the bikes are on par. I don't think any of the bike here is offering any complicated electrical component which can create any kinda problem.

                                Finally the Prices have been posted in Honda India
                                and surprisingly
                                Repsol Edition is released in STD variant too.


                                But when I called to a dealer (Balaji Honda) they said that they haven't got the price of the bike yet.
                                They are just taking bookings for the bike it seems.
