Why target any bike!! Those dont need huge parking space, enormous space on road, doesnt pollute much.
They could have put the taxes on bikes 10 L price segment or so. Also increasing the taxes on SUVs/ 5m long cars, would be logical. Well said, the government instead of improving infrastructure just want to make money for upcoming elections they feel someone who is paying more than a lakh for a bike is rich and would not mind paying a bit extra.Originally posted by pv1984 View Post

Didn't supreme court overturned Karnataka rule to pay road-tax for other state's motorcycles.
Just buy them from outside Karnataka if you're from one; as for Karnataka people/citizens they need to pick their MLAs wisely.
