I think this time Yamaha is going with single headlamp instead of twin headlamps just to keep the cost in check. May be this time Yamaha wants to stay competitive in the market which is full of bikes around the figure of 1.5 lac.

i see. you mentioned bhp (20 vs 23) so i said that. both as and fazer will be capable tourers. nothing wrong with either and do job equally good i think.

am not saying its impossible. i also tour on my r15. on my last tour beyond Mussorrie i met a group of harleys with one rc390. the guy was doing it but his face was showing pain. i could see in his eyes. r15 is much milder than rc i think. so i was ok.

well i said guy was in pain. if you wanna have experience like that then go ahead.

mine is version 1 which becomes a commuter once you shift your bums close to tank.

Back to the topic. All these spy pics of Fazer 25 have one thing in common. They all are blurr and do not give clear picture of front end of the bike. They keep us guessing and help us to keep this thread alive.

If anyone spots the Fazer 25 test bike; please do post the photos of the front end of the bike.

Its clear, this time Yamaha is going the suzuki way with just fairing attached to the front. No twin headlamps like previous versions. As per spy pictures it will come with single headlamp i.e. the same one from existing fz25.

Fz25 is not faster than as200. I own a 2016 Oct model and I raced with fz25 last week on a open road for nearly 400 mts and the fz25 could not even touch me let alone faster than as200..
My bike is in top notch condition and don't know about the fz's condition but, by the looks of it, it wasn't very bad either..

was it scientific test (like proper drag race both bikes starting from zero on perfectly empty strech) or a race from red lights?

my feeling from saddle of both bikes as 200 and fz tells me fz is faster.
