With over 400 Suzuki dealers across India, this strategic tie-up will offer the largest assortment of bike and scooter models across all transactional platforms in India.

As part of the association, Suzuki will also have a brand store on Paytm for higher consumer engagement guaranteeing an enhanced consumer experience. With the alliance, Paytm projects registering sales of more than 10,000 units to be sold on the platform within this calendar year.

Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director (India), Suzuki Motorcycle said,
"Paytm enjoys great consumer trust owing to transactional credibility and consumer satisfaction. Based on this understanding, Paytm and Suzuki were the natural partners for this strategic alliance. Consumers can now book their favourite Suzuki motorbike with the ease of a click on Paytm. Our dealerships present across the country will be actively involved in giving a great consumer experience to Paytm's customers while fulfilling the orders."
Renu Satti, Vice President, Paytm said,
"We are highly delighted to announce that Suzuki has displayed their trust on Paytm by making us the preferred partner for all of their product offerings. We are confident that this will create a mutually beneficial relationship between Suzuki and Paytm, with consumers being the ultimate winners."
Earlier in November last year, Suzuki Motorcycles India tied up with Snapdeal to sell their two-wheelers online.

Paytm’s competitors Snapdeal and Flipkart are also selling two-wheelers on their platform. Snapdeal has a exclusive tie-up with Hero MotoCorp, Hero Electric, Mahindra Two-wheelers and Piaggio. While Flipkart has recently started selling TVS Motors entire range in Bangalore as well as Bajaj, KTM and Kawasaki motorcycles on their website.

I have liked paytm for routine transactions - the more recent product ranges are definitely attractive but they take their own sweet time to deliver. Some push-pull stuff will scratch the market, presumably. Let's wait & watch; can't wait to see the bikes on the app
