The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Personally, I would prefer wind protection on any bike capable of doing 120kph+. Hence, for this reason, even though most street fighters are drool maal and look menacing, I would always prefer something like Fazer with that semi fairing or a decent sport bike

I totally agree about the fairing bit. But if I had to buy a naked, that is a bike for the city and short rides wherein I will not need to go overboard trying to hit 250+ at every given opportunity and seeing the base pricing of this one, I would hesitate to buy something else.

I guess the cheapest Ducati in India comes at 15lacs officially, right? Will it be cheaper than that? Yes, its a Ducati alright! but then we already have CB1000R at 9.5lacs ex-showroom, and the fazer is speculated or expected to come at around the same price!!! both streetfighters and I doubt the possibility that this Ducati will be priced at similar range....I have no idea about its pricing anyways

Ducatis doesn't appeal to me atleast! I would ANYDAY prefer a machine from the 'Land of the Rising Sun'!

Your CB1000R 9.5L ex-showroom is turning out to be over 11L OTR as I found out y'day in NCR. The base Ducati Streetfighter is priced at under US$15000. Which roughly translates to 15L. This is not yet on offer in our country. The S version is more expensive of course.

I know. And then you will get beaten by the Italian!

                              OT:
I couldn't care less if I am being beaten by the Duke. I respect the machine (Ducatis), but as long as I am onboard the 'One, I wouldn't even notice when a Duke flew by me!
