Xpulse 200 should have been ideally launched as Impulse initially. 150cc was too timid for the intended purpose.

wow...now its something exciting from hero finally. Eagerly waiting for the launch to happen. Finally I found a replacement for my impulse..

Xpulse does look promising! Cant comment on the performance with the book figures!

Tank range just 450 kms with 14L capacity? Does it mean, the bike gives a FE of close to 32 kmpl? That’s pretty low!! Infact, similar to my Ninja 650

Xtreme is a good option if priced around hornet, fz, gixxer etc. I strongly feel hero will price it at 79990 as introductry price...

Went to Auto Expo yesterday and saw Xtreme 200 and Xplus 200 in real and i'd say they look much better when seen in person rather than on paper. Well built sturdy looking unit , though it's a bit conservation design as compared to the likes of apache 200 / pulsar 200 and fz 250, still it looks a bit different. Excluding clip-on handlebars is bummer.

i think the Hero Xpulse is not a competitor of the RE Himalayan as the price and specs are quite different.

It will majorly be a common man's off-roader/dirt bike. I hope its launch makes an impact. Fingers crossed.

Its not a competitor to the Himalayan ONLY in terms of Engine Capacity and the resulting power and torque figures. But I am pretty sure the Xpulse will beat the Himalayan everywhere else.
