As Samarth said, wait for May end and if nothing happens, lets lock this thread.

edit:If KTM-Bajaj are launching a 250cc bike in 2010, that will be conflicting with Ninja 250? They will have two 250 cc bikes? So is the Ninja coming or not?

okay... they finally admitted some reason for not launching the KTM-Bajaj derived models yet. I am eagerly waiting for these bikes and the revamped Pulsar range

BTW, 125 cc liquid cooled??? didn't expect that. Let us start some speculation then... 4 valves? 14 PS?

The capacity is 125 cc as the bike is mainly being developed for Europe..

According to current European laws, one can ride motorcycles upto 125cc with just a 4 wheeler licence and doesn't need a motorcycle licence. Also the max power output for such 125 cc motorcycles is limited to 15 Ps.

That's the exact reason why the Yamaha YZF125 and Honda CBR 125 sold in Europe are 125 cc bikes and makes 15 Ps.

Therefore the the Bajaj-KTM 125 cc can safely be assumed 15 Ps.

Yeah... I had that thing in mind when I typed my text but thought the limit is 14ps Initially thought that the 125 is for Indian market but when they stated LC the immediate thought is that it is targeting the European learner motorcycle market.

bajaj will keep on delaying their launch of the ninja or whatever. in april it was may and now it has become june. let's just forget the ninja. would be better to wait for a bike which has some confirmed news like the 180 menace. ktm will be showcased at the auto expo 2010 and then they will make us wait till 2011 or maybe 2012!!!!!!!!!!

somehow I believe that these are just gimmicks by these guys.

Bajaj heard that you are waiting for the Ninja and they convinced Kawasaki to hold the launch until the Hyderabad pro-biking service center is upgraded to handle the Ninja.

                          shut this bakwas up
i think we should all meditate so that our heart are content with whatever we have
gimme a break pals ,,,,,,, all of us are excited by the stupid rumours that go round but looking in the practical aspect!!!
i dont think all those bikes would be launched ,,,,,, specially the higher ones!!

HONDA being a foreign co shut up the manufacturing of the ETERNO because they said it was selling only 40k units per year in comparison to the ACTIVA which numbered in lakhs

so how can we imagine that BAJAJ being a INDIAN company could cope up with such low sales
either they would have to open new manufacturing plant
or they would have to make these in their existing which would be feasible
but would create a chaos in the procedure
because one model would interrupt the manufacturing of the others,,, etc etc
like the eterno did for the activa ,,,,,,,,
not only manufacturing problems but also R&D problems,,,,,,,
and in this time of recession ,,,, i dont think the companies are ready to take such huge risks specially hh n bajaj cause they are only dependent of our COUNTRY mostly ,,,bajaj has market in asia thou
so they arent ready to take risks
EDIT: if they dont manufacture n import,,, the import duties just hike the prices and nothing else

big imported ones like YAMAHA can do so
but even when the HONDA fear things
if honda would have launched the cbr 150rr
r15 would have had serious damn competition n would have probably felt inferior to the awsome cbr
                          but HONDA didnt do it
                          why???????
dont they want to earn money
no one can probably answer such questions n if someone tries,,, who knows its rite or wrong

how can we expect our own cos to do things then,,,,

launching a new model is no piece of cake
we sitting here demand big things,,,,,,
its takes a lot more than we think ,,,,, marketing , distribution , production , sales , maintenance , R&D , etc etc etc
those FAT GUYS wearing armani suits are playing this game even before we were born
                          they know their stuff

so at the moment i think we should keep dreaming or meditate
