Well, Indeed LML is the same to the scooter market as Yamaha is to the current Biking Market. innovative, comfortable and reliable. if I have the resources, I would love to buy one from LML, my all time favorite scooter. I fairly remember that I started off touring on my 1995 LML NV spl and did good stretches. done Ludhiana-Baddi-Ludhiana, Ludhiana-Batala-Ludhiana, Ludhiana-Sangroor-Ludhiana so many times that I have lost a count of now. also, the superb road grip, excellent braking , wonderful suspension, amazing electricals........ uff...I can go on and on....Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

I'm in for that. If I have enough cash today I will replace my dad's Chetak with an LML. See, the Honda Eterno too sold about some numbers until it was discontinued. Now, LML is not making this stuff just for Indian market. They are only spilling some numbers out from their export numbers. They wanted to re-enter the market for abotu two years now and no better time... Eterno is discontnued and LML has a market there.Originally posted by rajasthan_royals View PostWho bothers weather launch a new version of Vespa or Beamer both are useless product in current scenario who will buy a LML Vespa in front of Honda Activa or Avaitor.
Also, the old Vespa & LML fanboys would defanitely look at this instead of a gearless one.
See, the scooters are not for you and me. Those who want it know what they want. Don't come out with such strong comments. Go out and test ride one LML NV and I am sure you'd come back impressed. It rides better than many bikes we have in the market now.
I remember stories from many people getting 60 KPL on highway with an LML NV. The suspension, braking and the clutch were marked differentiators from the Chetak for me and I wanted my dad to buy that instead of the Chetak.Originally posted by dcs View PostWell, Indeed LML is the same to the scooter market as Yamaha is to the current Biking Market. innovative, comfortable and reliable. if I have the resources, I would love to buy one from LML, my all time favorite scooter. They did not closeout... what ever it was, was just temporary. The factory was running at a lower capacity and was catering to the export market.Originally posted by sabret00the View PostLML didnt that company shut down after a lockout?Last edited by HydBiker; 05-19-2009, 03:15 PM.

ok this is one good news. i had one LML T5 special it was damn good looking and the console was car like and just too sexy for that time(1991 or 1992) it was released.
yeah LML does export a lot of scooters which others should also be doing. I' m sure HMSI and Suzuki India must be exporting some scooters along with Bajaj Auto which has a very strong global presence already. those European guys get thier kicks from scooters.
I welcome this news very much. it was sad to see them forced out because of that stinking aftersales service setup. hope they have learnt a lesson or two. wish them all the best. yes I will buy one for sure. geared scooters rule.

Personally i like the LML. My friend still has a LML Supremo which is about 15 years or more older. Still runs like new and no body vibes for a 2 stroke plastic body scooter.
Lets see when Honda can do it(I own one Dio and dont talk about plastic vibes). Ironically he also has the Honda Eterno which has some gearbox problems.
They after all are the first ones to create scooters that dosn't have to be tilted to start. I think this company can move off the regular market(which is full of dog eat bone kind of stuff) and offer some specials, they can make real beautiful products.
I dont see any body being aware of the re-intro of the NV.
