That is MT for sure.Originally posted by #bpk View PostLet's see , i will meet you right here after the launch [emoji23][emoji23]
The silverish engine casing without the regular fins, lack of rear grab rails, absurd looks which is like V3 ripped off by a street hawker.
They may be sharing faces because Yamaha India is never shy to be super cheap.
They left FZ and V3 alone in an underground lab and a mad scientist(not with a good reputation) combined them both.Regards,

Re: 2019 Yamaha FZ-S India launch on 21 January
I spoke to the sales person at Yamaha malad (Mumbai ) he informed me that the MT15 will be launched at an estimated price of 1.4L and it has the r15 engine and a 6 speed gearbox. Going a little off topic, I was wondering about the pricing strategy by Yamaha. The Fz25 costs 1.40/1.45 on road in Mumbai, the R15 is around 1.3 on road and now they are launching the naked street fighter MT15 at the same price that of the fz25, isn’t that strange?Safety is priority not an option

R15 V3 cannot be 1.3 onroad because its exshowroom price is 1.39 in Mumbai. Your numbers are all wrong.Originally posted by funkyfreak View PostI spoke to the sales person at Yamaha malad (Mumbai ) he informed me that the MT15 will be launched at an estimated price of 1.4L and it has the r15 engine and a 6 speed gearbox. Exshowroom prices in Mumbai
Fazer25 = 1.28 lacs INR
R15 V3 = 1.39 lacs INR
FZ25 = 1.18 lac INR
MT15 = ???
Logically MT15 should cost less than R15 V3 but more than FZ25 so approximately 1.3 lacs INR exshowroom unless Yamaha decides that MT series is superior to the R seriesFor My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

The MT15 seems to be an interesting proposition. The MT15 will cost close to the FZ25 and will have a better topend than the FZ25. It can cruise at 120-130 speeds comfortably, which is considered to be 300cc territory, provided it has the same engine as the R15 v3. It is sure to cannibalize the sales of the FZ25.

Might not have to cost less atall!Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostMT15 = ???

Remember the R15s v2 which was priced R15s v2==R15 non-s v2, where logically the "s" model should've costed less!
I could see something like that aswell MT15==R15 v3, the same way as seen on pricing of Duke 390 2017==RC390 2017 (admitted naked 390 has more LCD fancy speedometer and LED headlights , but full fared bike has expensive bright projectors and faring parts which are tad bit expensive)Last edited by kiran2508; 01-20-2019, 03:37 PM.Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart
