  • Michelin's Spectacular Breakthrough

These tyres are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.
The bad news for the U.S. Law Enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tyres.
This is what great R&D will do, and just think of the impact on existing technology:
    A. no more air valves.
    B. no more air compressors at gas stations.
    C. no more repair kits.
    D. no more flats.

    SCAN DOWN & SEE.
These are actual pictures taken in the South Carolina plant of Michelin.

Yes. Old hat. This happened about two years ago.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

                  +1 on that..
BTW, I don't think it'll be gr8 for bikes.. The handling will suck..
Moreover, this will be suited for tyres with a flat bottom (for cars), while tyres of bikes have a round profile..!!

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

3)Thou shalt respect one's own bike.
4)Love thy bike as thy self.
                    5)Always wear safety gear.
