    TVS is apparently working on the RTR 310

    TVS is apparently working on the new Apache RTR 310. It may borrow the frame from the G310R to reduce the rear-seat height for practical daily usage.
    The article says that clip-ons may be replaced with a regular handlebar for a relaxed riding posture - This I'm not sure about unless TVS is taking on the Dominar/Mojo or positioning this motorcycle as a tourer.

    Could be interesting times ahead for TVS 310 models.

        As a R15 V2 rider for 5 years, the reduced seat height would be welcome by most buyers. Even if the rear seat is not used 90% of the times.

        Changing the clip-ons to single tube type bar would spoil the looks of a proper sports bike. The clip-ons can simply be raised to a comfortable position, like in ZMR.

          RTRs have always had clip-ons. Why would they change the formula?

            Being an owner of an RTR180 2011 model and having done almost 600 km in a day which was a mix of ghat sections and highways, I don't think I ever felt the stance was too committed.

                I think its a good news... This one should however be reasonably priced and reach every TVS showroom which hosts RTR series.

                Expensive things such as Fairing, USD forks, may be compromised to get a good price tag.. I do hope for ABS though.

                And even if they end up getting a more torquey, less powerful version like Dominar is of Duke/ RC, no problem. Torque is enjoyable in its own way, and not everyone redlines.

                      I believe the RTR would be the Naked sibling of the 310RR. A naked with bar handle always looks cool
