  • "The RTR 180 is a highly versatile machine that can do almost everything comfortably be it sport riding, city commuting, touring or stunning."

"Even after riding the bike for two and half hours continuously, there was no hint of fatigue crept in my body. The new RTR's handlebar-foot peg geometry is so versatile that apart from the racetrack, it will prove to be highly comfortable even on the highways and in the city."

I also felt the same but I was not confident about that. Is it confirmed by TVS or any reviewer?

It may not have been widened, thay may have set it frontwards. i have done it on my RTR. considering end weights, yes they may be heavier.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

        • It is confirmed .. It has been told by TVS sales guy as they got this information from company.. I also confirmed it as they placed RTR 160 and 180 placed together.. So that i got the feeling.. Otherwise nobody will notice this change generally.. The main reason for checking the handlebar is I have bought RTR handle bar assembly kit today to fit into my apache 150.. I can't wait so long for RTR 180 handle bar to arrive in spare parts division.. I also got a feeling by closely observing the two bikes side by side, that the throttle length is more.. may be 3 to 6mm more.. But that is not confirmed by sales guy.. One more info today i saw flame sr 125 in the showroom.. Now it came with 100/90 X 17(old one is 90/90 X 18) rear tyre and 90/90 X 17 front tyre(same as old).. Now tvs got 17inch rear tyre for RTR 180 and flame sr 125..

          • I think RTR 180 is one hell of a bike , with those tires nd that power i'm ready to buy the RTR in white its awesome .
FI has not been taken into it thats good nd would much be easier to upgrade the power .

That means small guys like me will have to reach out for it and I felt the same when I took the test ride. Or we can rely to most bent setting for the clip ons

So sad.TVS has always let down themselves when it comes to marketing. They need to take a leaf out of Bajaj's Marketing strategy. The Marketing gets the job half done rather than waiting for the stocks to get cleared up!!

                      • a friend of mine was looking forward to buy this bike and he requested me to test ride it once!

i have tested the bike at bridgestones motors on rajkumar road, rajajinagar!
well i actually managed to get a big test ride on the bike for almost around 20 min!!

this is what i felt- the saddle is a little higher than my apache150. it felt good and comfortable and better than my bike. handling is also much much better. the pull is amazing. as soon as i started to leave the clutch, it became restless to leap ahead!!! braking was precise and gave a lot of confidence to me. i didnt have a chance to corner it nor i am too experienced but what i felt was, it is better handler and balanced. i loved the riding posture. the exhaust note was nice but nothing too much to talk about personally. gear shifting is very accurate and way ahead of my bike. but i did encounter the false neutral once. i ripped the bike hard and it rips much more freely.

i dont feel the bike is uncomfortable or cramped for a 5'8'' like me. the bike provided for test ride was dark Matt Grey and pearl and black were on display! otr quoted to me was Rs.73700.

i also tested the pulsar 180 and i like apache more than the pulsar.
and ya compared to my apache 150, the vibes were very less!!!! but what ever the vibes are, its a very engaging and fun bike. i like it!!
