I was also Confused when I saw this thing but I think it is just a mistake...

        Go to Techspec Tab..
In 7th line you will notice "Fuel System : CARBURETTED"
"I hate people moving fast....so I overtake them.."

I didn't find Fi anywhere. Its clearly carbureted only.

There still will be people going for better fuel efficiency and Apache looks all the same.

How much more fuel efficient is the "Fi"..?? 5 kmpl?
                  At what extra cost?

Better throttle response, easy cold startability, smoother engine/lesser vibrations could be considered as reasons to go for the Fi tech.

too early for that but IMO it's good for 40 kmpl. less than that will not be justified.

checked in late here. now that it's here already, i feel a wild urge to go and buy this bike. hmmm... and i'm not done running in my 180 UGIV

very much on bajaj lines. the the 160 and 180 will look very similar in grey and black. not so sure about the yellow. the rear fender will definitely find it's way into the heart and onto the butt of many a bike here for sure. I just love it. may put it on my bike as well.

It's not extra mileage but overall packaging which may lead people like me may like to go for RTR FI. That seems to be best balance between power and efficiency.
Instead of stopping producing it if TVS tries to address all frequently reported problems then I would still go for RTR FI not RTR 180 though I still have not test ridden RTR 180.

I don't think TVS would stop producing the RTR FI as they want to sell it in USA, according to this!

TVS Motor president (marketing & sales) HS Goindi told ET: “We are in the launching mode, and finalising our entry into the US market. Our bike has met all stringent technical norms in the US and we have also appointed distributor to sell our products in the market.” The company will launch our advanced fuel injection Apache in the US. We have tweaked the product we already sell in India with some minor changes to meet the US automotive standards.”

I asked MCR TVS in Delhi.. They said that the bike will be available for test drive later this week. And yes, Pearl white suits the apache.
What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

Still people buy a Passion Pro for 50k where as Shine and Platina 125 are available for 45k OTR.
