      • Now this is really confusing.Every bike magazine has different reviews and most of out here even have different opinions. I guess i will have to wait for the test ride myself,that would be the only way to find out how good the bike really is.But i am sure the addictive induction roar of the Fi would be missing on this bike.It makes things so much 'fun' while ripping the bike!!

          Right, even members seem to sound quiet different on some aspects after test riding, it's unusual.

                    • Hi everyone.. I have been reading each n every post in this thread.. and also mostly the Chenai G2G thread.. its just that i am lazy enough to enter my user-id and press login

                      I am so confused with regard to the 220 now. The initial reviews said that the bike had great torque/pull, 0-60 in 3.8 etc etc. I was all set to buy the P220 in a month. But now it is said that the low grunt is not there, and pick up is not upto 220fi itself!! that was very disappointing.. I hate R15 just cuz it lacks the initial grunt.. I dont want a bike which can go mad after 6 rpm. initial torque/pick up is what really impresses me Is really p220 upto that mark or not.. please anyone clarify. Or else ill better stay wt my P150.. (which I am very much happy with, eventhough if i cannot compare that to a 220.)

                      MJ

                      • well, the torque is relatively less below 2.5k rpm but its not very noticeable. its prnounced more because the exhaust sound is less

                        I would say you can go for it

                            • I had a close look at the 2009 P220 DTS-i this evening at the Bajaj Probiking showroom, in Connaught Place (New Delhi). The machine really is a tremendous value for money product (at Rs.74k odd in New Delhi). I obviously could not take a test ride, as the machines were being mounted on the dyno. Probably, by tomorrow, I might be able to get a nice dyno ride.

                              Overall, the 2009 P220 DTS-i is a real good product. At one point of time, I was even contemplating selling off my P200 for this - the 09' P220!

                              @Bandhav: You listening?
                              :)

                                Bharath, B'lore is way behind !! Local Khivraj guy (Indranagar) says P220 DTSi will be launched only after 2 months, there were lots of P200 in the showroom.
