  • Thanks. Still running her in nice and slowly. Revved it a little now and then. Rode this morning side by side with my R15 and tried comparing both. Couldnt lean much on the 220 as the main stand bottomed out. Once im done with the running in which should be in few days then will be able to compare properly.Till then, here are a few more pics.

Take utmost care during running in...

Most importantly, do not forget that the R15 was made for the track and has all the cycle parts sorted out for that kind of riding. Comparing a 220 (even the new one) with the R15 would leave you wanting more on the handling part at least.

On the power front, its entirely a different ball game...as yankees would say "there is no substitute for cubic inches"
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

@payeng- bajaj test track isn't open for public/motorsports I guess, leaving 1 billion with 2 tracks only

however, don't think its the bestest track design.. very few right corners in there

              Of course.. silly me.

India could do at least with three (one each in North,West & East) more tracks.

From the video, the test track looks amazing.Bajaj has got surely more money than other indian manufacturers. The TVS test track looks obsolete in comparison.

I wouldn't bet on ziggy as it has Mr.Adil behind it. I will surely wait for ACI and OD for a more clearer picture.Btw, this month's BSM has a comparo between P180 and RTR180 and a TD of P220. anybody checked it?

I read OD since 2001 still have each and every issue.
The fuel efficiency figures which OD gets is always way above what you can expect from your machine but i trust them as far as performance figures are concerned.

OT:OD got a highway mileage of 21km/ltr from Skoda Octavia vRS!!

                      • the rear suspension travel has been reduced or its the same
                        its 90 mm now
was it 130 mm at rear before or it was 90 only ?

i dont think this bike would perform off road nicely due to stiff suspensions

The amount of disparities highlighted w.r.t P220F performance in media, mags and experts is rather unusual. It's not just the bike that will come under scrutiny of buyers but also mags, their reviews, experts, testriders, methodology adopted to measure performance etc etc...will be under scrutiny. Just my opinion.
