Great! Thanks for the information Bandhav.

@Niks: What Praful says is true. I did not find any different name on the MRF tyres, I did check those out specifically during the launch. Although, it is mentioned everywhere that these tyres are soft-compound, but it is really hard to tell the difference.

Anyways, more importantly MRF is shutdown indefinitely due to labour strike! I've been waiting to replace my balding rear tyre for more than a month now!!!
sad ! I wanted to replace both front and rear .. and this time no vyde

bajaj has made a crucial move. time for the others to move their pieces.
I agree I am really excited by this move by Bajaj & would love to see the competitions reaction

The mags claimed it because BAL told them actually. According to reports, they feel stickier.

@Niks: I'm a bit surprised, for the rear why not the Vyde? Its also a soft compound and definitely a lot better than the Zapper C when it comes to overall grip!

The tires are indeed softer than the previous tires found on the 220FI. The bike is already on display (and available for test rides) here in Ahmedabad.

I have had the pleasure of test riding it for a bit and also examine the tires. The rubber gives way much easier when poked with the nails than the older tires. (Tested it previously on the older ones.)

P180 may affect P150 ? What say guys ? One member said that P180 doesn't feel VFM (after P220 was launched) ?

P180 will target the FZ section of the pie, also the soon to be launched RTR180.

P150, well the rest of the crop.

Each bike is clearly defined in their roles now, with each looking distincly different from each other, so, IMHO, I do not think there is any confusion.
good question and an appropriate answer........ but till now the(those) uncle ji's will say---- are yeh to 2000 sasta hai (its 2000 cheaper......) ........

Vyde gets balder very quickly in the middle giving it a square profile .
In the overall grip , I did not find it more grippier in the wet .... in dry it is definitely better

DTS-FI is still available on booking - Atleast what I was told in the DElhi Probiking. Yes, P200 has been discontinued.
