Ok folks here i am to spam again, day before had a test ride at kanjurm marg showroom...since i was the 2nd maniac to book this bike without knowing the specifications n having a luk at it...so the manager of this showroom cald me for the test ride day before yestrday..since am a pulsar 150 owner i cnt say the diference between the fi n carb. Bt when i took this bike for a test ride i was accompanied with a salesman..for 1st 200meters i rod the byk as if its my bike. But then cudnt w8 much mre so turned around and asked the salesman can i rip it, he said 'sure'...shiftd all gears at 8.5 rpm and as soon as i hit the 4th gear the salesman shouted loud 'OH SHIT' n believe me the jerk wich i got while shifting each n evry gear it felt as if 'beta, dil me ladu foota' i lovd the smoothnes of this bike so much, frm its self 2 its red shiny color 2 its power that evn if it wud hv been priced 90grands i would definetly go 4 it. N btw the new speedo looks kool...7days mre 2 go 4 my baby 2 cm

but that manager of that showroom told me that the fi version wil be discontinued, dont know how true is it.

OT- am so glad and so proud of my self for geting flunked last year in my 12th, or els would hav been a jealous, frustratd and paranoid owner of xpensive fi....seriusly, i believe in destiny

It s always from 10k RPM.

I really dont think this bike would be better in mileage than the FI....!

i dont get the point why it is so difficult for a GIANT company like bajaj to develop a monoshock and a rigid lightweight frame . it is not rocket science . no matter how fast and neatly priced the 220 maybe it is a disappointment .

No worries bro, your wishes might get fulfilled in the next upgrade....
Till then rejoice this gem of a bike....!

The biggest USP of this bike is the way it accelerates once past 60. I pity all the new owners during the run-in period. The bike is made to ride hard & all the new owners should give the bike its due credit.I also had a short spin on a stock R-15 in the evening and it felt underpowered.

It s always from 10k RPM.

All their bikes barring this one has 9K redline and CDI cutoff at 10.5K.
This one has 10K redline(from BI pic) and probably 11K or 11.5 cutoff.

I just visited the bajaj website...

its been updated with the 220 dtsi but there are no traces of p220 dtsfi and p200 dtsi is still there in the new site....
